Lace ribbon frame

Stampin' Up! Lace Ribbon Punch

I've been having a bit of a play with the lace ribbon border punch to create something a bit different with it...

A frame is quite straightforward to create as all the shapes are symetrical so you can easily line them up to create corners.

Just cut throungh the middle of the circle/flower element of one of the punched strips diagonally, from the middle of the corner to the outside edge. Repeat this with the other punched section so that the two pieces of the circle will fit back together. Stick the corner pieces together on your project ensuring that your diagonal cuts line up.

If you have been following my blog you will have seen a few similar cards featuring these 2 birds created with the Bird Builder punch but I just couldn't resist using them again for this card.  However, I have used something else for a change - one of the Sizzlits individual dies that you can find on page 125 of the main catalogue 'Swirls Scribbles' - a rather odd swirly die cut that could be used for allsorts...

The Lace Ribbon Punch is item number 122362 and costs £18.25 and the Swirls Scribbles die is item number 113441 and just £4.50, but you will need a Big Shot or die cutting machine to use it :).
