Punched pacman

I needed a card for an 'old' friend's birthday... so this is what I came up with. A pacman card made from a variety of punches:

Can you spot the punches I have used?

Jungle safari quilt

I shared a baby card with you at the weekend, which I made for a friends new arrival. The jungle/safari theme makes a lovely change from blue or pink baby cards... so I was even more excited when my mum created this beautiful quilted blanket after I asked her to make something for the nursery.

All I told her was that it needs to be orange and green and have a jungle/safari theme. Isn't it absolutely beautiful! Here are a few close up's of the individual animals.

Lovely lion

Owl with pocket

Funky monkey

Elephant
Stampin' Up! fans may recognise some of the fabrics that were used, bits and pieces left over from the fabric range that is now retired unfortunately.

New baby card with a jungle/safari theme

It seems that baby cards are always blue or pink! So I was excited to get to make something in a different colour, for a specific theme to co-ordinate with the nursery theme, for my friends new arrival.

Here's the card I had fun making with a variety of punches, although I did case the idea from Julie.

Materials
Cardstock - Tangerine Tango, So Saffron.
Punches - Oval, 1" 3/4 circle, 1" 3/8 circle, 1/2" circle, scalloped circle, Owl Punch, Boho Blossoms.

Personalised football card

This is a very quick card to make, the personalising part was a little tricky as I had to stamp each letter independently using my Stamp-a-majig. If you don't have one of these - you must get one!

Animal bookmark cards

Plenty of people still read 'books' rather than having a Kindle. I was recently asked to create a card commission with a book theme, for someone who also likes animals. Here's what I came up with, you may recognise them a little.

Special shoe

I challenged myself a little in creating this card, using a picture of a shoe and coming up with a template. I've then added some thin ribbons in a 3D swirl.

Still the Stampin' Up! embossing folder and sentiment gets a look in however :).

Birthday cakes for male or females

I often find myself stuck for a card last minute and never have something suitable for the recipient. So I thought these would work for either a male or a female. You could switch the colours to something more girly too.

I've used the Create a Cupcake stamp set and the Decorative Label punch from Stampin' Up! for these with a few other materials and tools.

Butterfly birthday

I've use 2 different embossing techniques on this card. The background uses the Medallion stamp (retired) and a heat gun with clear embossing powder. The Top Note and butterfly has been embossed using the Big Shot machine and the Beautiful Bouquet embossing folder (the butterfly embossing comes as part of the Beautiful Butterflies embosslits die).

Maybe this card is a little busy, what do you think?
