New 'scrapbooking' product range - release date 1 May

Anyone who has been following my recent posts will know that last week I attended a wedding in Mallorca. Since then, I've been back in the UK but have had no time to craft, so apologies for my numerous wedding related posts.

Today I have another related post to share with you, but this time for the scrap bookers and Smash book lovers out there. It's not quite finished but I just couldn't resist showing you the work in progress, as Stampin' Up! announced yesterday that they will be bringing out a new range of products called 'this and that' next month, and these are similar to the Smash range that I personally absolutely love :).

Here's my page:

You don't have to be tidy and neat with this style of scrapbooking and anything goes, the new Stampin' Up! range includes so gorgeous papers, notes/tags and washi tapes, all of which I just can't wait to get my hands on!

If you would like to find out more please contact me at for full details, or check back on 1st May when the products will be released with a great discounted (15% off) bundle pack offer.

I am of course still taking orders whilst I am away, although the flat rate shipping offered by Stampin' Up! through UPS (£4.95) will apply.

FREE postage offer

Note that this post will remain at the top of my blog until the end of the month.  Please scroll down for other posts.

In celebration of my pending departure from the UK to go travelling and to give you a chance to get your orders in before I go, I am offering FREE postage (in the UK) with orders of £45 or more until 21st April.  If you would like to take advantage of this offer please contact me at or telephone 07974 062376 to place your order.

Clutch purse

I just had to share this with you, despite it not using Stampin' Up! products...

I needed a purse/bag to go with my outfit for the wedding that I attended in Mallorca last week, and I just couldn't find anything blue, to match the dress.  Fortunately Mum was available to make something and this is what she came up with... it even has a red butterfly to match with the dress.

Inside... with pockets for everything!
It was perfect for my camera, phone and money too, plus it could easily be adapted to match something else by changing the butterfly :).

Mr and Mrs Owly

Today I have a wedding card to show you made with the Owl punch.  This is just such a versatile punch, anyone who doesn't own it really should get one!

I've had a little play around with the punch shapes to create the outfits for the groom and bride, and everything is created with just the punch.  Check out some of my other Owl punch ideas here.

I've also created a background with the Honeycomb embossing folder and added a sentiment from the Petite Pairs stamp set, punched out with the Curly Label punch.

A few favours

If you have been following my blog you will know that I was responsible for making the wedding favours for my friends wedding in Mallorca.  You can see the previous designs here.

The final design chosen was the plain butterflies with the Champagne Glitter paper and I also made some standing place cards for the children using the Scallop Circle die - you can just see them to the right of the photo.

And a close up:

It was a lovely wedding and I can safely say, thankfully it went without any problems, despite me being in charge of the table plan, wedding favours and hair ;).

I forgot to take a picture of the hair in all it's glory, but managed to grab a couple of photos towards the end of the afternoon after the curls had dropped a little - I'm still proud of it though!

Happy Birthday Cat

Happy Birthday to my very good friend Cat who is erm.... one year older today ;)!

In my mad rush to get out of the UK back at the beginning of February I was frantically trying to get all my cards made for people who's birthday it was whilst I was away.  I didn't realise I would be back earlier than planned, so this card was a quick and simple one.  I'm sure Cat won't mind as my crafting skills are being taken advantage of put to good use by her over the next few days, so I will make up for it ;)...

If you would like to place an order, don't forget about the colour refresh that is coming up in the new catalogue - so stock up on any of your favourites before they go out of stock.  See further details here.

Colour refresh - stock up before it's too late

Stamp in' Up! announced yesterday that they are refreshing the Core Colour Collections.

From the next annual Catalogue which comes into effect on 1 July the Core Colour Collections will include 10 new colours - four of which are brand new and six of which have been part of In Colour Collections (although not necessarily in the UK!)

Some of the other colours move collection to give them a fresh lease of life while others will leave the collections for good.

You'll notice there are TEN discontinued colours - these will be retiring at the end of the current catalogue (30th June 2013) but they will only be available while supplies last! So if any of your favourites are going, you might like to stock up on cardstock, ink pads and markers while you have the chance.. once they're gone, they're gone!! Contact me at as soon as possible to place your order as I would hate you to miss out.

If you didn't manage to get your hands on a free Petite Curly Punch during Sale-A-Bration (SAB) they are now available for purchase (as hinted in the SAB catalogue). The cost is £11.50 and they will be available through 30 June. Please note that they will also be included in the 2013-2014 Main Catalogue (coming 1 July) so they will be here for some time to come thankfully as it co-ordinates with the Ciao Baby stamp set in the Spring/Summer Catalogue.
