Loads of flowers

I cannot throw anything away... so am always looking for ways to use up scraps.

The Boho Blossoms punch is great for this and creates embellishments which can be put to good use on lots of card designs.  I often just punch out a load of flowers and put them in a pot for a rainy day.

A little trick to make them look 3D is to place them in the palm of your hand and poke them in the centre with a pair of tweezers or scissors and then usually I add a basic rhinestone or pearl in the centre.  To create leaves punch one of the flowers out and cut the petals out individually and glue randomly to the back of the flower heads.

For this card I have used these flowers around the base of a Whisper White circle mounted on Pink Pirouette cardstock.  The easle style of card is a great way to make a simple card look more extravagant and it's literally a case of folding the front half of a card base into half and then placing the main image or panel on the folded piece and propping it up with a raised panel or similar.
