Spice cake suite

Today I am doing a demo for charity during lunchtime and also a demo at my parents house this evening... fingers crossed I can get over to Kent from Cambridge without issues with traffic!

The current mini catalogue has some really lovely products in it, but note that these are only available until 30th April... so why not place and order during the Sale-A-Bration event which ends on 31st March and take advantage of the FREE limited edition stamp set (4 to choose from) or Designer Series Paper pack awarded for orders of £45.

Today I have a lovely project made using the Spice cake suite from the current mini catalogue... it has papers and a stamp set amd there is also co-ordinating fabric and buttons...

This was Fiona's (a fellow demonstrator) project at the crafty get together on Saturday.  I alway love Fiona's ideas as she has a completely different style to me, and this card doesn't disappoint!  Here's the inside view:

Materials:
Base - Soft Suede card stock;
DSP - Spice cake;
Panel (inded and front) - Very Vanilla card stock cut with the Top Note die using the Big Shot machine;
Stamp set - Spiced Paisley. The stamp has been inked in Soft Suede and stamped randomly over the card base on the inside of the card to create a matching background.
Sentiment - Happiest Birthday Wishes (hostess only) inked with Soft Suede onto Very Vanilla and punched out with the Scallop Circle punch.  A Scallop Circle has also been punched from Soft Suede and used behind the sentiment panel;
Ribbon - Very Vanilla Seam Binding ribbon.

Fiona and a couple of other demonstrators are having a crafty event on 24th March in Basingstoke if you are interested - see full details here.
