More from my recent invites commission for a baby's first birthday today. The rest of the set...
Lot's more punches for this card... and lots more cards:

You're having a giraffe
Today I have part of a commission to share with you, and it was certainly a challenging one to make 10 of these cards!
At one point I actually felt like I had bitten off more than I could chew, after punching out yet another giraffe 'horn' and set of nostrils.
I was really pleased when they were finished and think they came out ok in the end :).

Get well cute elephant
As promised I have another card to share with you which uses the Patterned Occasions free stamp set from the 2013 Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration event. Another get well card, using the cute elephant this time.
Would probably work for a new baby card too...

Personalised 70th for a cat lover
Today I have a commission to share with you that I was instructed needed to feature cat's for a 70th birthday. I've had a play with my new alphabet dies (Little Letters from Stampin' Up!) which I just love :).

New baby card with a jungle/safari theme
It seems that baby cards are always blue or pink! So I was excited to get to make something in a different colour, for a specific theme to co-ordinate with the nursery theme, for my friends new arrival.
Here's the card I had fun making with a variety of punches, although I did case the idea from Julie.
Materials
Cardstock - Tangerine Tango, So Saffron.
Punches - Oval, 1" 3/4 circle, 1" 3/8 circle, 1/2" circle, scalloped circle, Owl Punch, Boho Blossoms.

Animal bookmark cards
Plenty of people still read 'books' rather than having a Kindle. I was recently asked to create a card commission with a book theme, for someone who also likes animals. Here's what I came up with, you may recognise them a little.

Happy Easter with chocolate bunnies
Happy Easter to you all!
I didn't plan to make any Easter cards this year, but I did receive a small commission request for some, so decided to use one of my previous ideas (see old post here) to save time.
I changed the colours around and bit and scared myself using the Every Egg Stampin' Around wheel, with Chocolate Chip ink... got there in the end though.
Materials:
Base - Pool Party and Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock;
Other cardstock - Chocolate Chip and So Saffron;
Stamp sets - Perfect Postage, Every Egg (Wheel)
Sentiment - Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Card for my Sister
Being back in the UK for a bit, I have finally gotten around to using my Xcut alphabet die from Hobbycraft that I picked up in the sale last year.
In fact, Hobbycraft have a lot of sale items in store now (1 year on) which I am having to resist the temptation to look at.
So here is the card, using some DSP from Stampin' Up!, a lovely laser cut wooden button from totallybuttons.com that I've had in my stash from years ago and a few other items.

Limited stash, personalised baby card
What do you do when a very good friend has a new baby and you're out of the country and have no craft stash to hand?
You search out a craft or stationery shop and do your best to ensure the occasion doesn't go without a handmade card.
I'm not sure whether it ever arrived in the post as I sent it from Singapore, but it's the thought that counts.
Here is what I came up with...

Happy World card making day
I was scratching around a bit for something to post today to celebrate... And then realised I hadn't shared this with you from August! It's the card I made for my dad's birthday, using the Zoo Review stamp set from Stampin' Up!
I've used Stampin' Up! card in Gumball Green, More Mustard and Early Espresso.

Using peel offs
Today I have a card too share with you that uses just the 1 inch square punch from the Stampin' Up! main catalogue. The cute cat silhouette is actually a peel off.
I've used Melon Mambo, Real Red, Basic Black and Whisper White for this card, which was very quick and simple...
