Lotus Blossom card ideas

I absolutely love the Lotus Blossom stamp set from Stampin' Up!, although I did find it a little fiddly to work out the colour combo's and deal with stamping off the ink for some of the images.

This 3 layered stamp can be inked in so many colours to create lovely flowers - I stuck with Rose Red and Pink Pirouette, although they are retired colours, they still look great.

Mothers Day 2015

Honestly, I've been rubbish at keeping my craft blog up to date!

Today, I was reminded to share a card with you... as it's Mothers Day...

I've used the Circle Card thinlits die from Stampin' Up! for the base, cut from Crumbcake card and then featured the Beautiful Butterflies dies.

Punch art flower card for Mum

It's been a while since my mums birthday, but here's the card I made her as I haven't shared it yet...

The card uses two of my favourite punches from Stampin' Up! - the Bird Punch and the Owl Punch.

Cute banners for a mum

I had a little play with the Banner Blast stamp set from Stampin' Up! last month and love the variety of cards it can be used for. Here's a cute birthday card idea:

Colours (all Stampin' Up!) - Wisteria Wonder, Marina Mist and Whisper White.

Especially for my mum

Of course as it's mother's day I was tasked with conjuring up something for my mum and decided to go with a quilting theme, as she is such a keen quilter.

Here's what I came up with...

Lots of scraps of DSP utilised in this card using a square punch, which I have then laid out on a top note (Stampin', Up! Die).

The lettering for 'MUM' comes from one of Papermania's stamp sets from the Urban Stamp range - Stitched Alphabets. Perfect for a quilter :).
