Get well cute elephant

As promised I have another card to share with you which uses the Patterned Occasions free stamp set from  the 2013 Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration event. Another get well card, using the cute elephant this time.

Would probably work for a new baby card too...

Recover rapidly

The stamp set I have used for this card was a freebie from Stampin' Up during their Sale-A-Bration event last year. The stamp set is Patterned Occasions and is very versatile, check back later this week for another idea with the same set.

SAB butterflies

I have more Sale-A-Bration (SAB) ideas for you today.  Using the lovely Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set.

I've selected Rich Razzleberry for the base and then randomly stamped the 'butterfly' image over a piece of Whisper White card stock using Rich Razzleberry, More Mustard, Pool Party and Island Indigo.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set... but I also needed something for a get well card so changed the based to Pool Party and used a Teeny Tiny Wishes sentiment :)...

Last chance to order from Autumn/Winter catalogue

The good news is that the Spring/Summer catalogue is released on Friday (1st February), so there will be lots of new products available for purchase.  However, that means the Autumn/Winter catalogue products are only available until Thursday (31st January)!

If you would like to get your order any items from the Autumn/Winter catalogue then this is your last chance - contact me at jadedcrafter@gmail.com or telephone 07968 951957 to ensure you don't miss out.  You can also take advantage of the Sale-A-Bration offer for orders of £45 (excluding P&P).

Here's a quick card to remind you about those lovely Festival of Prints papers from the Autumn/Winter catalogue.  The papers are great for a variety of occasions...

I've used a Very Vanilla base and then adhered the DSP for the background, before adding the image from the For the Birds stamp set.

A quick sentiment inked with Versamark and embossed with White embossing powder and set with a heat gun from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set and it's done.

There are 48 sheets in each pad of the Festival of Prints DSP pack, with 4 sheets each of 12 different designs.... great for card fronts and mounting photos at a size of 11.4 x 16.5cm.  Check them out on page 20 of the catalogue:

Get well gift

I have my big shot class this morning, and I couldn't wait until after the class to share one of the cards with you...

Do you recognise the flower?  Last week it was a bookmark, and this week whilst I was designing my class, I thought I would incorporate it onto the front of a card so it becomes a gift and a card.

I just love the Fun Flowers die as the flowers created are just great on their own, so I kept the card base simple using Chocolate Chip and Whisper White (embossed with the Square Lattice embossing folder).

The sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set has been inked with Versamark ink, which is clear, and then embossed with Whisper White embossing powder melted with a heat gun.

There's also a secret ingredient used on this card to make it smell all flowery :).

Hopefully the weather will improve over the rest of the weekend as I have no plans on Sunday and hope to fit in a bit of walking... but that may be all alone, as no one wants to venture out in the miserable rain... COME ON summer, where are you!!!

Crafting weekend keeps sickness at bay

Yesterday's crafty get together was brilliant and just what I needed after a very long working week.  Thank you to all the lovely ladies who joined in the fun and for the lovely projects that you shared with us all.  I have already been CASEing some of the ideas and using the layouts for other projects.

You will have to keep checking back during the week for some of these.

There was also more crafting last night as my good friend Tori and her husband to be stopped by for dinner, and to design their wedding invites. The final version is definitely one I would give my thumbs up to and am looking forward to making them all next month en-mass!

Today I'm doing something a bit different on the crafting front.  I'm attending a jewellery workshop so hope to be sharing what I make with you there too, if all goes to plan.

I keep being told I should rest a little or I will get sick, no chance (!) ... a weekend of crafting is sure to fix me up, so here's a sick card instead :).

This is so cute - even though I say so myself... and I did CASE it off the web.  Everything is made with the owl punch... which I just love.  The sentiment is from the Petite Pairs stamp set.

Materials:
Base - Crumbcake card stock;
Owl punch;
Card stock scraps of Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Pink Pirouette and Basic Black;
Ink - Chocolate Chip.

Get well

A break from Christmas ideas today...

One of my friends has just had an operation, so I made him a little card to wish him well.

It's made from a Whisper White base cut to A6 and then I've added a section of brights DSP in the 'striped' design to the left had side.  I've then punched a border using the Scallop Trim border punch in Basic Black and adhered this over the join.

The image is the cute little bird from the Every Little Bit stampset inked with Marina Mist onto Whisper White cardstock and then the bird has been coloured with a So Saffron marker pen.  I've then punched this out with the Curly punch and punched 2 pieces of Marina Mist card with the same punch and mounted these onto the card and then raised up the bird image with dimensional sticky pads.
