Happy Birthday Kat

My friend Kat is celebrating a big birthday today, but I avoided rubbing it in and putting the number on her card ;)!

Happy birthday mate, I hope you have a great day and sorry I'm not there to celebrate.

I've used the Occasions Alphabet stamp set that will remain in the main catalogue along with the Postage, 1" Square and Boho Blossoms punches. Colours are Raspberry Ripple and Pink Pirouette.

Don't forget the new catalogue will be released on Tuesday so check back then.

Easter flowers

I have a very quick card to share with you today, which would probably work quite well for other occasions as well as Easter, with just a change of sentiment or colour theme.

The little daffodils were created with the Boho Blossoms punch and then I've punched out circles using the eyes from the Owl punch for the centres.  The sentiment is from the Wacky Wishes (hostess) stamp set, inked in Bashful Blue.

I've not really had a chance to play with the Honeycomb embossing folder from the Spring/Summer catalogue but I totally love it... so, more ideas to follow!

Bloomin' Boho Blossoms and bundle offer

Thank you to those of you who made it along to my demo over the weekend.

If you weren't able to make it then you can still place an order in the normal way by contacting me at jadedcrafter@gmail.com.  Don't forget Sale-A-Bration (SAB) runs until 22nd March, and those SAB limited edition products will be available whilst stocks last.  Plus, for those of you that missed my launch event but would like to take advantage of a special Jaded Crafter bundle offer - just scroll down for full details.

Here is the make and take project we made at the demo.  It features the Bloomin' Marvelous SAB stamp set along with the Boho Blossoms punch.

I've used some of the 2012-14 In Colours for this card.  The 'leaves' from the Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set have been stamped randomly in Gumball Green onto Whisper White and then punched out with the 1 inch square punch and mounted on Summer Starfruit coloured shapes punched from the Perfect Postage punch.  I've then added flowers from the Boho Blossoms punch and Basic Rhinestones in the centres.

Finally the 'hummingbird' from the Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set has been inked in Raspberry Ripple and stamped onto Whisper White and carefully cut out and mounted with Dimensionals and the sentiment has been inked in co-ordinating ink.

For those of you that missed my launch event, I am offering a bundle of products used to create this project for just £45, excluding postage, if you place your order with me before 10th February.  That's products with a RRP of £52.25 for just £45 plus P&P.

Here is what you will get in the Jaded Crafter Bundle Offer:

Pack of 5 Stampin' Write 2012-14 In Colour markers (RRP £11.75) - item 126856

Owl treat

Only time for a very quick post today as been working into the night/early hours and back at it again today before I can go home!  The good news is that I have also packed up most of my stuff from the house in Cambridge which I vacate next week, although I don't really see much of an end to working up there anytime soon - but the days will be lessening for a while :).

Here's a little treat created by my upline Cate, which she created for a swap at our last demonstrator get together.

Full details can be found on Cate's blog.

On a separate matter - If you like to travel, please do also check out my other site/blog as I have another trip planned in November and hope to share with you some other travel related content in the coming weeks.

Gift tags with box

It's always handy to have a few gift cards around for when you have a last minute present or just want to leave someone a little note.

These gift cards fit inside a box created with the Scalloped Envelope die and are so quick to make, and also make great gifts too.

You will see the box is made with Marina Mist card stock, from 2 die cuts and I've added a piece of one of the papers from the Festival of Prints DSP pack to the front, along with some Very Vanilla Seam binding ribbon.

Sorry about the above photo being so dark!  Here are the little gift cards, embossed at the bottom with the Stripes embossing folder and then embellished with a variety of images from the Clearly for You stamp set (retiring this month).

Materials:
 Clearly for You stamp set;
Scallop Circle punch;
1 3/8 Circle punch;
Eyelet Border punch (retiring this month);
Boho Blossoms punch;
Stripes embossing folder;
Very Vanilla seam binding ribbon;
Basic Rhinestones;
Early Espresso grosgrain ribbon;

No more pillow box die :(

Apologies for the late post today... I have got a bit behind with scheduling posts this week as work slowly catches up with me.  If fact I'm a bit behind on the crafting too, but still have a few things to share with you to make sure you're making the most of the retiring products list!

More items dropped off today so make sure you check out the lists soon, here.

Another of my favourites is going... the pillow box die :(!  I'm not sure how life will be after it's gone, but I have seen the replacement product in the upcoming new catalogue which will be released in October and I don't think you will be too disappointed.

However if you don't want to miss out, contact me now to place your order and remember I'm offering FREE postage on orders of £45 or more for the rest of the month.

Here's a quick project created with the pillow box die from some Blushing Bride card stock (also retiring) and some of the lovely Timeless Portrait DSP papers which will also be gone after September, if not before.

I've also used the following products:

- Decorative Label punch
- Bird Builder punch (for the leaves)
- Boho Blossoms punch
- Basic Rhinestones
- Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder

For my Mum

Today I have a card to share with you that I made for my Mum who will be having surgery this afternoon for cataracts.  Hopefully a straightforward procedure. but I will still be thinking of her and just wanted to let her know...

I've stamped the Medallion stamp directly onto the Basic Black card base with Versamark ink and then embossed it with clear embossing powder melted with a heat gun, which creates a lovely shimmery background.

Onto this I have adhered the lettering cut out of Whisper White from the Timeless Type Junior Alphabet dies and then added a couple of Real Red flowers created with the largest and smallest flowers from the Boho Blossoms punch (layered up and then added a Basis Rhinestone in the centre).  Then to finish I have used the sentiment from the Just Believe stamp set, inked in Versamark and embossed with White embossing powder.
