Everyone is starting new jobs...
...or so it seems!
The card base is the lovely Island Indigo and the background panel is a piece of Pool Party run through the Square Lattice embossing folder with the corners punched using one of the petals from the Boho Blossoms punch.
I went with a traditional good luck card, so picked the 'clover' image from the Every Little Bit stamp set which has something for everything ;), inked onto Whisper White and punched out with the Curly Label punch. I couldn't find a sentiment suitable so printed out the 'Good Luck' and punch this out with the Word Window punch and then finished off with some Basic Pearls.
I hope the first day of the new jobs goes well x
Here is a very quick card that I made for my lovely friend Min who starts her new job this week. I realised that she was away until after I had left for Vienna so had to come up with something quickly but then forgot to drop it round and also post it from the airport...
So, another apology for another late delivery of a card - best of luck with the new job Min, I'll drop the card round when I'm back later x

Another new job
Hopefully all the Spring mini catalogue orders are now in... if you have something you want last minute I can probably squeeze in an order at lunchtime but you will have to call me on 07968 951957 to be sure.
Tomorrow I will be able to show you the new Summer mini catalogue and some projects using the products from here, but today I just wanted to wish Kat good luck with the first day of her new job. Hopefully the card will arrive soon as I was a little slack with posting it, but I'm sure this blog post will arrive safely.
I've had a play with some Early Espresso card stock to make this card, as a born and bred user of Chocolate Chip (similar colour 'brown') this is a brave move for me, and I think I can safely say that I really like this shade of Brown and will be using it a lot more :).
The DSP is from the Hostess section of the main catalogue, which means you can only get your hands on it when you host a party and your sales are over £150 - so why not book a FREE party now as I have dates available through May and June (see my Home parties for more). Just contact me for available dates.

New job
I'm working today so don't have time to craft... instead, here is a card I made last weekend for my friend Tori who started her new job this week.
It another card that makes use of the great Timeless Junior Alphabet dies, run through my Big Shot machine. I've coupled Melon Mambo for the base with Wisteria Wonder and Very Vanilla. Using the Square Lattice embossing folder on the Vanilla piece, I've quickly created a background that suits the little cat from the Patterned Pets stamp set which I've inked in Basic Black and then cut out and mounted with dimensional sticky pads.
Being a cat fan, I assume this card was well received, and I know the first week of the new job went well...

Variations on a Christmas card
I love coming up with ideas for stampsets that think outside the box. The Season of Joy stampset is one of my favourites at this time of year because you can create numerous Christmas themed cards with it, but also because you can use the beautiful poinsettia stamp with different inks to create non Christmas cards.
There is still time to order the Christmas stampsets to make your cards for the festive season, but the Season of Joy set (only in wood mount) may not be around after this year as it has been in the catalogue for sometime. Please Contact me to place your order now.
