Using Pool Party with So Saffron card stock and a slither of Soft Suede, this is a reasonably quick card and you can change the colours to suit the recipient.

Happy Birthday Amy

I'm a little late with the birthday wishes today but haven't forgotten... so, happy birthday Amy!

Here's the card I made for her... 

It seems I have been away for just over a month now and this is the first post that I hadn't already scheduled before I left the UK (check out the latest on my travel blog to see what I'm up to here) ... and I've already forgotten the name of the stamp set!

Quick check... it's Mixed Bunch stamped in Melon Mambo and then punched out with the co-ordinating Blossom Punch, and I've added a punched shape cut from Pink Pirouette behind the stamped image.

I've used a swing card design for this card, created with the Top Note die and cut from Pool Party card stock.  There are lots of tutorials on the web showing you how to create a card base like this so I won't go into details here.

I have used a Melon Mambo frame cut from the Top Note die to co-ordinate with the flower.

Sentiment = from the For the Birds stamp set.

Happy Mothers Day Mum

Being out of the UK I almost forgot that it is Mothers Day today!  

I did make a few cards in haste before departing last month, and fortunately had remembered this one for my Mum :)!

The base is Basic Black and I have embossed a piece of Real Red card stock, cut with one of the Designer Labels Framelits dies, with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder and used this for the background.

I've added a butterfly cut from Twitterpated fabric (adhered to card) using the Beautiful Butterflies die and then punched out a Decorative Label punch shape stamped with the sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set and decorated with one of the stamps from the Bloomin' Marvelous SAB stamp set.

SAB thoughts

Sometimes it is necessary to create a card for difficult occasions.  Although the Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set seems to have some more 'cheery' stamps in it, I thought I'd create a sympathy card to add some variety.

I've added leaves from the Bird Punch instead of using the stamp from the set as these are a little bigger...

Sweet Valentine

Today I have a Valentines card to share with you.  This could also work for an anniversary or engagement or anything really ;).  I've used Raspberry Ripple (my new favourite!) and Basic Black, which I have teamed with some hand made papers that I brought back from a visit to Sri Lanka...

I've stamped the 'humming bird' stamp from the Bloomin' Marvelous Sale-A-Bration stamp set to create this card, and created a mirror image using my Stamp-a-ma-jig... although I have to admit that I needed a blender pen for this idea as the image didn't work so well on the textured paper.

Argyle embossing folder;

SAB butterflies

I have more Sale-A-Bration (SAB) ideas for you today.  Using the lovely Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set.  

I've selected Rich Razzleberry for the base and then randomly stamped the 'butterfly' image over a piece of Whisper White card stock using Rich Razzleberry, More Mustard, Pool Party and Island Indigo.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set... but I also needed something for a get well card so changed the based to Pool Party and used a Teeny Tiny Wishes sentiment :)...

Here is the make and take project we made at the demo.  It features the Bloomin' Marvelous SAB stamp set along with the Boho Blossoms punch.  

I've used some of the 2012-14 In Colours for this card.  The 'leaves' from the Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set have been stamped randomly in Gumball Green onto Whisper White and then punched out with the 1 inch square punch and mounted on Summer Starfruit coloured shapes punched from the Perfect Postage punch.  I've then added flowers from the Boho Blossoms punch and Basic Rhinestones in the centres.

Finally the 'hummingbird' from the Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set has been inked in Raspberry Ripple and stamped onto Whisper White and carefully cut out and mounted with Dimensionals and the sentiment has been inked in co-ordinating ink.

There is a lot to choose from, so I thought I'd share one of the stamp sets with you today.

I wanted to decorate my journal with something simple ahead of my upcoming travels so opted for the Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set which is available during the Sale-A-Bration event.  This has 4 image stamps and 4 sentiment stamps... Bloomin' Marvelous (lol!)...

Here's what I came up with; quick, simple and hopefully it will give my journal a longer life:

Waste not want not... I've used the brown paper that comes with the Stampin' Up! packaging :)!  I've then covered my journal with the paper and then embellished the front with images from the Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set.

Note the sentiment has been inked and stamped onto the Cotton Ribbon which is in the Autumn/Winter catalogue and onto which you can stamp directly.  The great news is that this product will continue in the Spring/Summer catalogue too.

I've carefully masked the flower image in order to place the leaves behind them... just restamp the image onto a post it and cut out and stick over the first image and then stamp the image you want to appear behind over the top.  Remove the post it afterwards - it is as easy as that!
