New catalogue party - Thursday 13th October at 7.30pm

I'm a little behind on arranging this as I have been away for 3 weeks, but I've finally managed to find a date.  Next Thursday at 7.30pm.

If you are interested in finding out more about Stampin' Up! products and how you can make your own cards (and allsorts of other things!) then why not book to come along to my FREE New catalogue party.

There will be a number of offers available including 10% off any order over £20.

If you are new to crafting, why not come along and give it a go as there will be a make and take project using some of the new products.

Contact me to book your place.  On confirmation of attendance I will email you my address and directions!

Post it note holder

As promised here is one of the gifts made at my class on sunday.  It's the same post it note holder which was in one of my scheduled posts (see here) but using the Every Little Bit stamp set instead.

Materials:
Every Little Bit stamp set (120558);
Patterns DSP stack - brights (117155);
Rich Razzleberry ink pad (115658);
Rich Razzleberry marker pen (120970);
4.4cm scalloped circle punch (119854);
Stampin' dimensionals (104430);
*Blender Pen (102845);
Basic Rhinestones (119246);

To make the holder, cut the A4 Rich Razzleberry cardstock at 21 x 9 cm and score at 9cm, 10cm and 11cm from one end.  Then fold at the 10cm scored line. You will notice the top is shorter than the bottom.

To create the pen holder cut two snips equal distances from the ends. Then open out and apply some double sided sticky strip on the end sections.  NB You do not want to put adhesive in the middle section.  When you stick this down the pen holder can then be made to come away from the card - try this until it works before sticking the tape down.

Then to finish:

Decorate the front.
Attach sticky notes to holder.
Attach magnetic strip to the back.
Enclose a mini pen.

A tissue a tissue...

Having been suffering from a cold since I was in Romania... I'm debating whether I might just be suffering from hayfever instead, given the warm weather there and the fact that we have been having hot weather too in the UK...

Here is another tissue box as I have been using a lot of kleenex recently and also as I have had a couple of requests for the instructions.

Take a piece of Crumbcake card 4 5/8 x 8 and score at 1 1/2, 2 5/8, 5 1/4 and 6 3/8.  Stamp the butterfly image (from the Clearly for You set) over the card.  Then cut a piece of Daffodil Delight 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 and score all 4 sides at 1 inch.  Cut slits into the opposite sides and fix with sticky tape.

Once the inner box is complete you will need to cut a 1 x 2 3/8 piece of card to fit over the inside end of the box where the ribbon tab needs to be stuck.  Once done you can fit the outer sleeve around the drawer so that it fits comfortably and opens, and then stick together.

I decorated the top with a piece of card stamped with the background image from the Clearly for you set and then added the sentiment to a oval punch shape but this can be adapted to suit.

Let me know if you make any of these as I would love to see your ideas.

I'm still in the throws of returning from my holiday, what with a class this afternoon and trying to get organised before my first day back at work tomorrow!

The ladies enjoyed my gifts and tag class this afternoon.  Here is what they made...

The corner bookmark is an adapted version of the one I made for our last team training (see here for details and link to the original instructions).  I will share with you the full details of each of the other ideas later this week, particularly for those of you that wanted to attend but couldn't make it along.

Stampin' Up! have announced a special offer for anyone who signs up as a demonstrator this month.
If you join my team in October Stampin’ Up! will give you ink pads in the five new gorgeous in colors and a pack of assorted A4 card in the in colors. More details can be found on my offers page or contact me for more.
